Ingredients 

1 package Kinnikinnick Pie Crusts - 2 crusts (290 g)

4 large eggs (224 g)

⅓ cup milk 2% (70 g)

¼ cup cream 10% (50 g)

¼ cup fresh chives - chopped (2 g)

½ tsp garlic powder (1 g)

½ tsp black pepper (1 g)

¼ tsp salt (1 g)

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (50 g)

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (50 g)

1 roma tomato - diced (80 g)

2 celery sticks - chopped (60 g)

¾ cup cooked ham - chopped (140 g)

Directions

Pie Crusts

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place two Kinnikinnick Pie Crusts on baking tray (side by side).
  3. Pierce bottom and sides of Kinnikinnick Pie Crusts with a fork to prevent air pockets from forming.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes.
  5. Remove pie crusts from oven and cool slightly. 

Filling 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, cream, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Whisk vigorously until combined.
  2. Add cheese, vegetables, chives and cooked ham. Mix until combined. Set aside.

Assembly 

  1. Fill cooled pie crusts with filling.
  2. Return filled pies to preheated oven. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and let Denver Quiche cool slightly before serving.

Yields 2 quiche


Tips & Variations

  • For an alternative pie crust try our Flakey Pie Dough Recipe using Kinnikinnick All Purpose Flour Blend
  • Denver Style Quiche freeze well. Freeze up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Warm in a toaster oven prior to serving.
